Elizabeth Austin |
| Elizabeth Austin est né en 1938 à Baltimore, Maryland. Elle reçut très tôt une éducation musicale à Peabody Conservatory Preparatory Department. Elle a étudié la composition avec Grace Newson Cushman, Nadia Boulanger, Robert Hall et Donald Harris. Elle a un Bachelor of Arts en musique du Collège Goucher, une licence en composition musicale de l’École de Musique de Hartt et un Doctorat en musique de l’Université de Connecticut.
